Enjoyable! Leader was friendly and helpful. I liked her ideas for shooting but could use more instruction on settings. Next time I?ll try to ask more questions. I would definitely do another one. I?m hoping to find more like minded photographers.

We were headed south on Highway 71, approaching Limon, Colo., late in the summer of 2021. It was nearing sundown as we saw this large, countless array of wind turbines to the west. I needed a safe place to pull over and get photos with my cellphone and Nikon D7000 digital camera before it was too late. I believe I did.

Captured at the heart of the action in the University Stadium of Albuquerque, NM, this image encapsulates the vibrant energy of a local football game. The vivid colors and passionate expressions reflect the pride and fervor of a community coming together to celebrate their team. This photograph conveys the essence of these competitions: the roar of the crowd, the unity of the fans, and the spark of hope ignited with every play.

The Old Oak Tree, 2025.This is one of my favorite trees. It is situated alone in a huge field on a little farm near where I live. Every time I see it and the little rope swing that hangs from it, it just fills me with a sense of peace and tranquility. I wanted to portray that in this minimalist, high key version of it.
